THE HOUSE SHOW TOUR FAQs

Prior to and during the performance, certain guidelines must be followed to provide a safe atmosphere for attendees and performers. If these rules cannot be followed, we will have to reschedule your show till these guidelines are not an issue. There will be no hard feelings by any means.

RULES.

  • No more than 30 people.

  • You cannot sell tickets to this event. You can pool together money for the artist, but you cannot make a personal profit off the show.

  • If it’s illegal in your home state, it’s illegal at the shows.

  • No fighting.

  • No “crazy loud” talking.

  • Weddings unfortunately don’t qualify for The House Show Tour.

  • The show must take place indoors.

  • Kids are always welcome at the show at your discretion, but the subject matter of the songs might be for a mature audience.

  • Please don’t touch our gear.

  • All shows are acoustic and last 90 minutes.

  • No bitchin’ about the rules.

HOW IT WORKS.

The way we book them is a tad unconventional. It’s basically a lotto. First come, first serve. Then there is routing and availability. If you are selected, we send you an email with the dates. You have 24 hours (ish) to respond to the email. If we don't hear from you within those 24 hours, we email the next person in line. If you are selected and you respond within the time frame, the show is yours! You will receive a selection of dates for you to choose from. If none of the dates work out, there is always the next tour.

Alright enough of the chit-chat. What do we need from you?

  • Your first and last name.

  • Your email.

  • Your cell phone number.

  • The address where the show will be hosted.

  • A link to your socials. (We aren’t the IRS but there is some minor vetting that comes with this. Safety comes first.)

The Artists will come completely prepared to play the show. They will have everything they need to perform from a small PA system to the rug they stand on. They just need a power outlet.

COSTS

$500 + a home cooked meal.

HOW DID WE COME UP WITH $500?

  1. $120 + tax for a safe hotel room so the artist can sleep well knowing their transportation has a lower chance of getting broken into.

  2. Average tank of gas getting TO a venue in a Ford E350 van is around $85

  3. Average tank of gas getting to the NEXT venue in a Ford E350 van is around $85

  4. A decent lunch and breakfast + tip for the wait staff at a restaurant is $20-$25 PER meal.

  5. We feel like that number is an affordable amount for all walks of life. Grab 10 buddies. Throw in $50. Boom we are there.

For most of us who play music for a living, we really just want to bring our songs to folks who want to hear them. We want to create an experience for fans that they will remember. Break Bread. Buy merch. Listen to The Stories and The Songs. Tip if you feel like it. You are more than welcome to pay more, but that is the minimum.

WHY IS A HOME COOKED MEAL MANDATORY?

  1. Half of the time artists haven’t had them since they have been home and these people have been on the road for a while.

  2. We want to know the person listening to our music and there is no better way to do that than breaking bread. We give you a lot of our background with who we are through our songs and our stories. We want to know yours.

DOES ALL OF THE MONEY GO TO THE ARTIST?

  • 100%

  • Every single cent goes to the artist. Our job is to give them a place to get their ball rolling so their music can be heard. The folks that run The House Show Tour don’t make a dime off of these shows. The shows are built around and for independent and unsigned artists and fans who prefer those artists. We intended to keep it that way.

PAYMENT

Payment will be handled via PayPal or Venmo upon confirmation of the show.
